Pay: $2,049.12 per week

Shifts: Nights 7PM - 7AM

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatrics for a travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. This role involves the care of both pediatric and adult patients, specializing in post-partum mothers, post-op patients, and general med-surg. The successful candidate will be working in a dynamic healthcare environment requiring Peds and Med-Surg expertise.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Pediatrics
  • Obtain and record initial assessments, establishing priorities based on patient age and needs
  • Reassess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring intervention
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care within set time frames
  • Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on patient outcomes and modify plans as needed
  • Participate in patient and significant other health education and discharge planning
  • Implement and document timely interventions aligned with patient needs
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans
  • Perform Point of Care testing procedures
  • Utilize effective communication strategies to achieve intended outcomes
  • Delegate work assignments and coordinate team tasks based on patient and unit needs
  • Partake in the orientation of new staff and students

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Pediatrics
  • Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
  • Weekend and on-call availability required, with flexibility to float to L&D and MedSurg
