Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

This position is for a Pediatric Registered Nurse working 32 hours per week on night shifts. The schedule includes shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, four nights per week, with every other weekend required.

Unit Description

The role is situated within a 12-bed inpatient Acute Rehabilitation Pediatric Unit, catering to patients ranging from newborns to young adults. The unit focuses on providing specialized care and rehabilitation services to pediatric patients.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Experience in pediatric nursing preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor and document patient progress and condition.
  • Support families through education and emotional support.
