Job Details

  • Location: Asheville, North Carolina
  • Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Oncology Pediatric Nursing certification (APHON). One year of pediatric experience in a hospital setting required.
  • Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care, administer medications and treatments, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Ensure compliance with unit policies and safety standards.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Detail-oriented and organized personality traits. Experience in pediatric oncology preferred.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must have pediatric experience in a hospital and Pediatric Oncology Nursing certification. The unit requires flexible staffing including floating to related areas such as Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
