Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatrics

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatrics to join a dynamic healthcare team. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients aged 0-17, including medical-surgical and hematology/oncology cases.

Job Details

• Target Ratios: 1:5-6
• Shift: 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts from 06:45 to 19:15
• Contract Length: 20+ weeks, accepted up to February 27, 2027
• RTO: 7 days maximum for Aya Auto Offer
• Call Requirement: None
• Float Requirement: Yes, may float to PICU and NICU
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Required Skills and Certifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
• Must have experience administering chemotherapy
• Certifications: BCLS and PALS
• First-time travelers accepted if they meet experience requirements
• Local candidates accepted

Preferred Skills and Experience

• IV Start and Lab Draw experience
• Preferred certification in chemotherapy administration

Unit Orientation

Orientation includes a 24-hour unit orientation, followed by hospital orientation in the first week. Travelers must be available for classes each day.

Uniform Requirements

Scrubs are not provided. Travelers are required to wear fun kid-themed tops and navy pants.
