Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced Pediatrics Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Assignment Details
Specialty: Pediatrics
Location: Charlotte, NC
Schedule: Day, 3×12-hour shifts
Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
Hours: 36 hours/week
Start Date: September 28, 2026
Duration: 20 weeks
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,837/week
Patient Ratios: 1:5–6
Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
Float Required: Yes
Travel Experience Required: No
Requirements
Active RN license appropriate for the assignment
Minimum 2 years of experience
BLS and PALS
Pediatric Med-Surg experience
Experience with IV therapy/phlebotomy
Central, implanted, and peripheral line care
Experience caring for pediatric patients ages 0–17
Epic experience preferred
Pediatric oncology, chemotherapy, and Pediatric Step Down experience preferred
Unit Overview
The unit provides medical-surgical care to pediatric patients ages 0–17, including hematology and oncology patients. Nurses should be comfortable caring for neonates, infants, pediatric patients, and adolescents in a Pediatric Med-Surg environment.
