Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current Pediatric RN experience
• Active RN license
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Experience with high-flow oxygen, spinal fusion patients, and chest tubes
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative pediatric healthcare environment
• Meditech experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to pediatric step-down and basic care patients
• Monitor and support patients with mixed acuity needs in a pediatric inpatient setting
• Perform common pediatric unit procedures such as NGTs, Foley catheters, TP tubes, PIVs, and phlebotomy
• Assist with occasional procedures such as lumbar punctures when needed
• Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, and the broader clinical care team to maintain safe patient ratios
• Communicate clearly, ask for help when needed, and contribute to a strong team culture
• Adapt to scheduling needs and provide flexible, dependable support to the unit
