Job Opportunity – Pediatric Medical-Surgical / Hematology-Oncology Nurse – North Carolina

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour day shifts (06:45 - 19:15), 36 hours per week, every other weekend required, no call requirement

Highlights:

  • Patient population: Ages 0-17, medical-surgical patients and hematology/oncology cases
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5-6 across all shifts
  • Contract length: 20+ weeks available through February 27, 2027

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
  • Current BLS (BCLS) and PALS certifications required
  • Chemotherapy administration skills required
  • Active North Carolina or Compact State RN license (pending acceptable at submission)
  • IV start and lab draw skills preferred
  • Chemotherapy certification preferred
  • First-time travelers accepted with minimum experience requirement
  • Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
