Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in the Pediatric Operating Room.
This position involves working 10-hour variable night shifts, including rotating weekend nights.
The role may require floating to different facilities and units as needed.
Candidates must possess a current California RN License and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Experience in pediatric general OR is essential, with a preference for those with ambulatory OR, cardiovascular OR, or trauma experience.
Ideal candidates will have experience in a teaching hospital setting.
The Pediatric Operating Room consists of multiple surgical suites with a focus on a multidisciplinary team-based approach.
Services provided include but are not limited to neurology, orthopedic/spine, otolaryngology, urology, plastics, ophthalmology, and cardiac surgeries.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential for success in this role.
