General OR experience required.
Neuro experience required; adult experience acceptable.
Trauma experience preferably in a Level I trauma center.
Scrub experience required.
Description:
The position requires a registered nurse with experience in the pediatric operating room.
Candidates should have general OR experience.
Level I trauma experience is preferred.
Neuro experience is required, adult experience is acceptable.
Scrub experience is necessary for this role.
The surgical cases handled may include general, urology, endo/laparoscopic, plastics, ENT, and neuro procedures.
The candidate will work with pediatric patients, including neonates, infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents.
Surgical procedures can range from minor to very complex and may include ECMO, burn procedures, tumor resections, and trauma procedures.
The facility is a Level I trauma center with various specialties, and the staffing will involve a mix of pediatric and adult cases.
Travelers are expected to float within the hospital or to nearby facilities when required.
Candidates will be expected to comply with all necessary certification and experience requirements.
Availability to work two out of three major holidays is mandatory.
