Job Opportunity – Pediatric Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse – Colorado

Schedule: Day shift, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Operating hours typically 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM with on-call coverage. Patient ratio is 1:1 in a fast-paced, specialized pediatric cardiac operating room environment.
Highlights:
- Work in a state-of-the-art 8-OR pediatric cardiovascular surgical suite specializing in open heart and cardiac procedures
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of 25 experienced professionals including Charge RNs, Registered Nurses, Certified Surgical Technologists, and Anesthesia providers
- Gain exposure to diverse surgical specialties including Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Spine, General Surgery, GYN, Endoscopy, Plastics, and Cardiac procedures
- Utilize advanced equipment including Belmont Rapid Infusion technology in a modern surgical environment
- Electronic Medical Record system (Meditech / CPN) ensures streamlined documentation and patient care coordination
- Strong service line leadership provides exceptional support and mentorship to the surgical team
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of current hospital Pediatric CVOR RN experience required
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required
- Cardiac / Open Heart surgery experience is mandatory
- Active RN license in good standing
- Pediatric cardiovascular operating room experience strongly preferred
- Ability to function across multiple surgical service lines preferred
