TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Peds Med/Surg RN in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont, 05819!

Job Opportunity – Travel Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical – Vermont

Start Date: September 2, 2026

Location: Vermont

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Flex day/night rotation, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), opportunity to serve as Charge RN when needed

Highlights:

  • 25-bed independent Critical Access Hospital offering diverse clinical experience
  • Primarily adult Med/Surg patients with occasional pediatric patients
  • Broad scope of practice including medical, surgical, observation, swing bed, outpatient, and occasional pediatric care
  • Meditech EMR system
  • Collaborative and supportive interdisciplinary nursing team
  • Located in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom with year-round outdoor recreation opportunities

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of recent acute care RN experience required
  • Charge RN experience preferred
  • Current Vermont RN license or Compact Multi-State RN License
  • BLS (American Heart Association) certification required
  • ACLS (American Heart Association) certification required
  • Meditech experience preferred
  • Flu vaccination required with no exceptions
  • Personal transportation necessary due to rural location

Additional Information:

  • Orientation begins on Wednesdays
  • During the week of orientation, travelers on a 48-hour contract will be guaranteed 36 hours due to midweek start
  • Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing accommodations; local housing resources and recommendations available
  • All required credentials must be uploaded at least five business days prior to the start date
  • Pediatric-only RNs will not be considered for this position
  • Nearest major airport is approximately two hours away; no public transportation available
