Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Travel
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 15-bed Level II Trauma Pediatric ICU at a 2:1 patient ratio
- Perform IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including intensivists, respiratory therapists, and case management
- Utilize Meditech / CPN EMR for accurate and timely documentation
- Monitor patients using general cardiac/respiratory monitoring equipment
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure in a teaching hospital environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of current hospital PICU RN experience
- BLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Active RN license applicable to the state of Kansas
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CRRT experience
- APHON certification
- Pediatric teaching hospital experience
