    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – PICU

    Location

    Phoenix, AZ | Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Deliver professional nursing care appropriate to each patient's age and condition in accordance with evidence-based nursing and patient care practice standards.
    • Collaborate with the healthcare team, patient, and family to promote patient health as documented in nursing and medical plans of care.
    • Provide care in alignment with hospital goals, values, and regulatory standards.
    • Float between multiple campuses across the greater Phoenix area as assigned.
    • Float to NICU and CVICU as required by assignment needs.
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a PICU setting.
    • ADN, BSN, or Diploma in Nursing required.
    • Current Arizona RN license or a compact state RN license with multistate privileges, or ability to establish Arizona licensure prior to start date.
    • Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
    • Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association.
    • Must comply with flu vaccination requirements (October through April); declination requires a signed masking protocol agreement. COVID-19 vaccination recommended but not required.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience at a hospital with a Level III or IV NICU strongly preferred.
    • Prior experience floating to CVICU and NICU.
    • Children's hospital experience preferred.
    • NRP certification preferred.
