    Registered Nurse – PICU

    Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care across a mixed-acuity unit including PICU (1:2 ratio), PCU (1:3 ratio), and Acute Care (1:4 ratio), working across the full acuity spectrum as needed
    • Serve as a Rover/Task Nurse on inpatient units when required, performing duties such as repositioning, bathing, ambulation, meal assistance, patient transport, and medication administration
    • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Epic electronic health records
    • Adhere to unit scheduling requirements including minimum weekend shifts and holiday coverage obligations (2 out of 3 major holidays required)
    • Participate in on-call rotations as assigned for regularly scheduled shifts
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Nebraska (pending license accepted; if not in hand at time of submission, start date will be scheduled six weeks out)
    • Minimum of 2 years of pediatric nursing experience, with high-acuity care strongly preferred
    • Current BLS and PALS certifications required
    • Proficiency with Epic charting system required
    • Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
    • First-time travelers not accepted unless candidate has 3 or more years of PICU experience
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Current ACLS certification preferred
    • Experience in high-acuity pediatric critical care settings
    • Prior travel nursing experience
