    Job Title

    Travel RN – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

    Location

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 14–22 bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of up to 4:1
    • Support and perform procedures including cleft palate repair, appendectomy, chest tube management, lumbar punctures, and seizure management
    • Assist with thoracic cases such as thoracotomy, thoracoscopy, and pectus bar implants, as well as neuro, ortho, and general surgery services
    • Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
    • Work collaboratively within a full team environment, supporting colleagues across shifts as needed
    • Float to NICU Level 1 or Level 2 as required based on unit needs
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum 1 year of PICU experience
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
    • Ability to work 4 weekend days every 4 weeks; no on-call requirement
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
    • Experience in a charge-nurse-free unit environment
    • Familiarity with Meditech EMR
