Key Responsibilities of the RN - PICU- Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in the intensive care unit
- Monitor and assess patient conditions to ensure the highest level of care
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to create and implement care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care
Requirements of the RN - PICU- Current RN license in Texas
- BLS and PALS certifications
- Experience in a PICU or similar pediatric healthcare setting
