Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
Float to other units as needed, including NICU, CV PICU, ED, stepdown, and medical/surgical, with an appropriate assignment provided in each area
Comply with facility float expectations and adapt to varying unit environments
Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with facility policies and standards
Required Qualifications
Active Ohio State RN license or valid Compact RN license – must be in hand at time of submittal
Minimum of 2 years of PICU experience (first-time travelers considered with approximately 3 years of PICU experience)
Recent Level 1 facility experience required
Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility (no local candidates)
Must not have worked permanently at this facility within the past 2 years
2 supervisory references required at time of submittal, with at least one reference holding a manager or supervisor title
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience floating across multiple pediatric or critical care unit types
Travel nursing experience in a pediatric or critical care environment
