Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
Float to other units as needed, including NICU, CV PICU, ED, stepdown, and medical/surgical floors, with appropriate assignments provided in each area
Adhere to facility float expectations and unit-specific protocols
Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
Active Ohio State RN license or Compact RN license – must be in hand prior to start
Minimum of 2 years of PICU experience (first-time travelers considered with closer to 3 years of experience)
Recent Level 1 facility experience required
Willingness and ability to float to multiple units as required
2 supervisory references required at time of submittal, with at least one reference holding a manager or supervisor title
Must not have worked permanently at this facility within the past 2 years
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in high-acuity pediatric environments such as CV PICU or NICU
Prior travel nursing experience in a PICU setting
