    Contract | Rotating Shifts (Days and Nights, 3x12-Hour Shifts) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting with patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
    • Float as needed within the hospital, including to the Cardiac ICU (CVPICU/CICU), based on census and staffing needs — travelers are first to float when census drops
    • Work rotating day and night shifts based on unit need, with every-other-weekend (EOW) requirement
    • Work a minimum of 2 holidays during the contract period
    • Complete an onsite background check and fingerprinting on the first day of assignment
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required
    • Active RN license required at time of submission — valid Ohio single-state or multistate compact license accepted
    • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
    • Must be fully vaccinated — no exceptions
    • No previous license disciplinary actions on record
    • Supervisor reference within the past 2 years required
    • Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates — candidates within 50 miles will be considered local and local rates will apply
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Exposure to Cardiac ICU (CICU) environment preferred
    • Experience with Epic EMR preferred
    • First-time travelers are welcome, provided the 2-year specialty experience requirement is met
