    Registered Nurse – PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit)

    Contract | Rotating Shifts (Days and Nights, 3x12-Hour Shifts) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting with patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
    • Float as needed to the Cardiac ICU (CVPICU) based on census and unit needs; float assignments are communicated at the start of each shift
    • Work rotating day and night shifts, including a minimum of every other weekend (EOW) and at least 2 holidays per contract
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic health record systems
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, high-quality pediatric critical care
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of 2 years of recent PICU experience required; exposure to CICU/CVPICU is strongly preferred
    • Active RN license – single-state Ohio license or valid multi-state compact license required at time of submission
    • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
    • Must be fully vaccinated – no exceptions
    • No previous license disciplinary actions or hits on record
    • Supervisor reference within the past 2 years required; all certifications must be included in submission profile
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with Epic electronic health record system preferred
    • Prior exposure to cardiac ICU (CICU/CVPICU) patient populations
    • First-time travelers are considered, provided the 2-year specialty experience requirement is met
