Travel Nurse RN - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in Charlottesville, VA

Key Responsibilities Float to various pediatric units including PICU, NICU, Pediatric Med/Surg, Pediatric PACU, Pediatric ED, and Postpartum/Mother Baby. Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to pediatric and neonatal patient populations across assigned units.

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 or 48 hours per week | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Float to various pediatric units including PICU, NICU, Pediatric Med/Surg, Pediatric PACU, Pediatric ED, and Postpartum/Mother Baby
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to pediatric and neonatal patient populations across assigned units
• Adhere to facility float pool policies and scope of practice guidelines when rotating between units
• Participate in orientation modules, including specialty-specific training as required
• Maintain compliance with scheduling requirements including every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday rotations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required
• PACU and NICU experience required; must be comfortable across pediatric care settings
• Active RN license in Virginia (pending license accepted; must be in hand by the Wednesday prior to start date)
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS
• Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification required (may be submitted as pending)
• Epic EMR experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous Pediatric PACU experience highly preferred
• Prior NICU/PICU float pool experience preferred
• BSN preferred
