    Registered Nurse – PICU (Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 36 Hours/Week | Every other weekend required, holiday rotation

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct critical care nursing to pediatric patients in an ICU setting with patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3
    • Float within scope of practice across all pediatric units including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU to meet facility needs
    • Participate in emergency response team assignments as required, including during hurricane season (June through November)
    • Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including timely completion of pre-start modules and laboratory requirements
    Required Qualifications
    • Active South Carolina RN License or Multi-State/Compact RN License (SC license must be active prior to start date)
    • Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric ICU (PICU) experience
    • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
    • Current PALS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation)
    • Experience with CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
