    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – PICU (Float ICU)

    Location

    Atlanta, GA

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days, 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Float across multiple ICU settings including NICU, TICU, PICU, and CICU across two campuses
    • May float to general care areas when ICU census does not require additional staffing
    • Operate and monitor servo ventilators in ICU settings
    • Participate in Rapid Response Team (RRT) activities as needed
    • Administer and manage typical ICU drips, medications, and vasopressors
    • Maintain a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio in all ICU assignments
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license – must be in hand at time of submittal
    • Current BLS certification required
    • Current PALS certification required (AHA only)
    • Ability to pass a facility-administered medication test; a second attempt is permitted if needed
    • Compliance with a nicotine-free workplace policy; facility tests for cotinine/nicotine
    • All compliance documentation must be submitted no later than 7 business days prior to start date – no exceptions
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required
    • Experience with Epic EMR strongly preferred
    • Prior ICU experience reflected clearly on resume; first-time travelers considered if experience is demonstrated
