Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting during night shift hours
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation, charting, and care coordination
- Apply specialized knowledge and skills in Pediatric Cardiac ICU care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Adhere to facility dress code requirements, including navy blue scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of New York
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PICU setting
- Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Candidates residing in ineligible local counties are not being accepted for this position; only true travel candidates will be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a PICU or pediatric specialty setting
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in high-acuity pediatric environments
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and facility-specific protocols
