Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Expected 48 hours/week available
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) setting
- Monitor and assess critically ill pediatric patients, implementing individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and deliver high-acuity pediatric care
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR (required)
- Adhere to facility dress code: navy blue scrubs required
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of PICU/CVICU experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Pediatric CVICU background specifically required for this role
- Candidates must not reside in ineligible local counties — local candidates are not being accepted for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume, academic medical center environment
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills in high-acuity pediatric populations
- Familiarity with cardiovascular conditions and post-operative pediatric care
