ID: 74672463 Shift: Varied 0.9 NIGHT SHFT 1/5/26 or 1/19/26 start datesWeekends: As Needed by the unitOn Call/ Cal Description: Floating between departments and or local locations within 20 miles is required.Job Summary: - for holding Peds or SAC status patients. -Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. -Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients. -Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses. -Coordinates patient care through collaboration with the patient/family and healthcare team. -Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care. -Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols and documents according to policy. -Identifies and meets patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care. -Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel. -Completes patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing per unit standards. Preferred Skills & Experience: -Pediatric CVICU experience a plus. -Epic EMR experience preferred.Education: Required Education: One of the following is required:-Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN).-Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN). Preferred Education: -N/A Required Certifications & Licensure: -State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License. -BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required. -BLS and PALS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
