Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Peoria, IL on a travel assignment. This role involves working in an acute care setting with a focus on medical, surgical, neuro, and cardiovascular ICU patients. Key Responsibilities of the RN - PICU- Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with various medical and surgical needs
- Administer medications, monitor patient vital signs, and document patient information
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Recognize rhythm changes and perform associated interventions independently
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including intensivists, APPs, and residents
Requirements of the RN - PICU- Active IL RN license or initiated application process
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PICU setting
