- PALS (AHA)
Must-Have:
- Must be willing to float to NICU and ED as needed
- EPIC EMR experience
- Equipment experience: vents, high flow preferred
- Equipment experience: alaris IV pumps, feeding pumps preferred
Description:
This position requires interviewing viable candidates.
Candidates must be willing to work 1-2 of the upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed.
There may be a need to float to NICU, General Pediatrics, and the Emergency Department as helping hands.
Nurses may be assigned to patients who are stable, such as those needing some assistance with oxygen or antibiotics.
The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit includes 12 single patient rooms with private bathrooms and showers.
Family Consultation Rooms are available for discussions about the child's care plan.
Family Lounges include kitchenettes and comfortable seating for family members.
The unit features a state-of-the-art design that ensures efficient patient monitoring.
The environment is designed to be family-centered with amenities such as pull-out beds and individual sound systems.
Candidates will engage with a pediatric transport team that brings critical care expertise to children requiring specialized care.
