Key Responsibilities of the Travel RN - PICU- Provide critical care to pediatric patients in a PICU setting
- Manage pediatric mechanical ventilation and high-flow nasal cannula
- Handle arterial and central lines, and administer/titrate critical care medications
- Utilize weight-based pharmacology and conduct age-specific assessments
- Assist in advanced respiratory interventions, intubation, and hypodynamic monitoring
Requirements of the Travel RN - PICU- Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
- Minimum of 1+ year of recent, direct pediatric critical care experience
- Experience with pediatric mechanical ventilation and critical care medications
