Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 15-bed Level II Trauma Pediatric ICU at a 2:1 patient ratio
• Perform IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including intensivists, respiratory therapists, and case management
• Utilize Meditech / CPN EMR for accurate and timely documentation
• Monitor patients using general cardiac/respiratory monitoring equipment
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure in a teaching hospital environment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital PICU RN experience
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Active RN license applicable to the state of Kansas

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CRRT experience
• APHON certification
• Pediatric teaching hospital experience
