Key Responsibilities of the RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - Travel- Provide compassionate and empathetic care to pediatric CVICU patients
- Manage arterial, central, and transthoracic lines
- Care for patients with congenital heart disease and postoperative management
- Perform unit procedures including central and arterial line placement, and conscious sedation
- Support intubation/extubation and post-op recovery of cardiac procedures
- Participate in sternal closures, ECMO cannulation and decannulation, CRRT, and manual PD
Requirements of the RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - Travel- 1 year of Pediatric CICU/CVICU experience as a staff nurse
- 3-4 contracts in a dedicated pediatric CICU
- 2 years minimum PICU experience as a staff nurse
- PALS, BLS, ACLS certifications
