# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit – Kansas
Start Date: October 7, 2026
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; 2:1 patient ratio in a 15-bed Pediatric ICU
Highlights:- Level II Trauma Center with pediatric teaching hospital environment
- 15-bed Pediatric ICU with comprehensive critical care services
- EMR system: Meditech and CPN
- Collaborative team including intensivists, respiratory therapy, and multidisciplinary support staff
- Exposure to CRRT, IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements
- Night shift staffing includes intensivist, RN, and respiratory therapy support
Requirements:- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of current hospital-based Pediatric ICU experience required
- BLS and PALS certification required
- CRRT experience preferred
- APHON certification preferred
- Pediatric teaching hospital experience highly preferred
