Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN for a Travel assignment in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) located in Houston, TX. This role is focused on providing high-quality care to pediatric patients in a supportive and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities of the RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - Travel- Provide direct patient care in a PICU setting
- Manage cleft palate repairs, appendectomies, and chest tube management
- Conduct lumbar punctures and manage seizures
- Assist with thoracic cases including thoracotomy/thoracoscopy and pectus bar implants
- Collaborate with neuro, ortho, and general surgery teams
Requirements of the RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - Travel- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Minimum experience with EMR systems, particularly Meditech
