Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Pediatrics CVICU Cardiac Nurse for a travel assignment in Dallas, Texas. This role requires expertise in pediatric cardiac intensive care within a collaborative and dynamic work environment, providing top-tier care to patients with congenital heart disease.

Key Responsibilities of the Pediatrics CVICU Cardiac Nurse- Provide compassionate and empathetic care delivery
- Carry out central line and arterial line placement
- Perform conscious sedation, intubation, and extubation
- Manage post-operative recovery of general and cardiac procedures
- Conduct sternal closures, codes, and ECMO cannulation/decannulation
- Participate in CRRT and Manual PD
Requirements of the Pediatrics CVICU Cardiac Nurse- 1 year of Pediatric CICU/CVICU experience as a staff nurse
- 3-4 contracts in a dedicated pediatric CICU
- 2 years minimum PICU experience as a staff nurse
- Experience with caring for patients with congenital heart disease
- Experience managing arterial, central, and transthoracic lines
- PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications
