Job Description:
- Position: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Nursing)
- Hours: 48 HOURS
- Location: Local Candidates Welcome (within 75 miles)
- Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in Emergency Department
- Some Pediatric Experience preferred
- Documented travel experience required
- Certifications:
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
- TNCC certification required in hand
- Licensure:
- NURSYS Report License verification with ACTIVE NY License & all RN licenses
- Driver's license with address matching demographic
- EMR Experience: EPIC required
- Unit Details:
- Unit: Emergency Department
- Shift: 6:30a-7p (Block Scheduling not guaranteed)
- Charge Capability: Highly Preferred
- Floating: Required
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- Number of Beds: 64 beds
- Common Patient Diagnoses: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Failure
- Patients: Newborn, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatric
- Specialty Equipment: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun
- Facility Expectation: ED nurses provide care to all assigned patients, including SANE
