**Exciting Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (ED RN)**
**Job Description:**
- **Unit:** Emergency Department
- **Shift:** 14:30-03:00
- **Floating Required:** Yes
- **Scrub Color:** Navy Blue
**Your Role:**
- Deliver exceptional patient care in a dynamic ED environment.
- Provide support to patients of all ages, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
- Manage a variety of critical cases, including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure.
**Essential Qualifications:**
- Must live **75 miles** away from the facility (Travel) or be a local (under 75 miles).
- **Must have:** At least **2 years of** experience in the Emergency Department with pediatric experience.
- Documented **travel experience** required.
- Up-to-date resume including relevant experience.
- Skills checklist matching specialty is required.
- Valid driver’s license with matching demographic address.
- Current certifications: **AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC** (required).
**Licenses:**
- NURSYS report with **ACTIVE NY License**.
**RTO** (Requested Time Off) must be included at the time of submission.
**Technical Requirements:**
- Experience with **EMR:** EPIC (required).
**Unit Specifics:**
- **Number of Beds:** 64 (2 Triage, 40 Acute, 6 Super Track, 2 Trauma, 10 CDU, 6 Psych).
- **Specialty Equipment:** Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun.
**Common Medications & Drips:**
- Pressors: Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin, Dobutamine, Dopamine.
- Vasodilators: Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG.
- Anti-arrhythmic: Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lidocaine.
- Sedation: Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl, TNK, Heparin, Insulin.
