**Exciting Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department**
**Job Description:**
- **Position**: Registered Nurse in Emergency Department
- **Shift**: 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM (block scheduling not guaranteed)
- **Location**: Local candidates preferred (less than 75 miles)
- **Experience Required**:
- 2+ years of Emergency Department experience
- Pediatric experience
- Documented travel experience
- **Qualifications**:
- Active NY RN License & NURSYS report for all licenses
- Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (TNCC required to be in hand)
- Skills checklist must match specialty
- Driver's license with an address matching demographics
- EMR experience with EPIC
- **Unit Details**:
- Specialty Equipment: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun
- Patient Population: Newborn, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatric
- Common Diagnoses: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Failure
- Unit Capacity: 64 beds, including 2 triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 psych
- Charge capability: Highly preferred
- Floating required: Yes
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
