License: Active Iowa license or compact multistate license required
Certifications: BLS, PALS, TNCC
Must-Have:
- Pediatric experience within the previous 24 months
- Pediatric Emergency Room experience within the previous 15 months
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical systems within the previous 12 months
- Completed at least one travel contract within the previous 18 months
- De-escalation certificate (preferred)
Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Emergency Room team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric nursing and emergency care.
This position involves working with pediatric patients across various specialties, including Hematology/Oncology and Medical/Surgical.
Nurse-to-patient ratios will be maintained at 1:4 for optimal care.
Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
Holiday work is required, involving one to two of the three major summer holidays.
The successful candidate will be involved in a collaborative team environment, supporting the needs of young patients and their families.
