Description:
This position requires a registered nurse specializing in Pediatric Emergency Care.
The role is in a Level 1 trauma center.
RNs will perform conscious sedation in the unit.
The average daily census is 140 visits per day.
Nurses will encounter a wide variety of patients including those with high-acuity conditions.
Common patient diagnoses include chronic cases, asthma, behavioral health issues, respiratory distress, and trauma.
Qualified candidates must possess strong pediatric emergency department skills.
All roles require certifications in BLS, PALS, ACLS, ENPC, and TNCC.
The facility operates with patient ratios of 4:1 or 5:1 during both day and night shifts.
Travelers will not be required to float outside of their service line.
All requirements must be met to ensure compliance with facility standards.
