- **Staffing Details:**
- **Day Shift:**
- 4 RNs
- 1 Charge Nurse
- 5 Mid-shift RNs
- 1 Mid-shift Unit Clerk
- 1 EMT
- **Night Shift:**
- 4 Night RNs
- 1 Night EMT
- 1 Night Charge
- **Patient Ratios:**
- 4:1 (5:1 during surge)
- **Type of Equipment:**
- GE Monitors
- **EMR:**
- Meditech
- **Essential Skills Required:**
- Minimum 1-year current PEDS ED RN experience
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC & ENPC
- Pediatric Emergency Department experience
- **Preferred Skills:**
- CEN
- CPEN
- US IV competency
- **Typical Procedures Performed:**
- Port access
- IV starts
- Venipuncture
- Nasal wash
- Point of care testing (glucometer)
- EKG
- Foley placement
