Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVPICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: NC or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, PALS Must-Have: - Charge Experience: Preferred - Patient Ratio Experience: 2 - Charting System Experience: Preferred (Epic) - Community Client Experience: Preferred - LTAC Experience: Preferred - Trauma Level I & II Experience: Preferred Description: Registered Nurse needed for a Cardiac Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Candidates should possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a pediatric critical care environment. Strong clinical skills and knowledge in managing complex congenital heart disease, heart failure, and cardiac arrhythmias are required. Nurse will be responsible for administering blood products, chemotherapy, and anti-seizure medications. Experience with ventilator management and care of ventilated patients is essential. Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation of arterial blood gases is required. The role involves managing central lines, arterial lines, and other invasive devices. Pediatric dosage calculations and familiarity with high acuity environments are necessary. Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend. Floating within the facility may be needed based on staffing demands. Candidates should have the ability to work in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role. All candidates must meet compliance and attendance policies during the contract period.
