Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for a Cardio Vascular Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The position starts on December 7th for a 13-week contract. The role requires working nights and days in a high-acuity unit. The unit sees post-operative cardiac surgical care, cardiology, congenital heart issues, and heart transplants. Patients range from infants to young adults. Candidates must have experience with ventilators, multiple monitors, and EKG interpretation. Heart transplant experience is required. Must have experience caring for patients who are ventilated and managing complex cardiac conditions. Night shift schedules may include combinations of Friday and Saturday nights, while day shifts include Saturday and Sunday. Maximum of 6 days of requested time off is allowed. Candidates must confirm their availability for weekend shifts upon application. Compliance with pre-employment requirements and assessments will be necessary before starting.
