**Exciting Opportunity for a PCU/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)!**
**Job Description:**
- **Position:** Travel PCU/Telemetry RN
- **Duration:** 13 Weeks
- **Shift:** Day Shift 7a - 7:30p (3/12's)
- **Weekend Requirement:** Work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- **Float Pool Position**
- Must be willing to float between departments and multiple facilities
- **Requirements:**
- Current AZ License
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Experience with Cerner EMR is required
- **Patient Care Responsibilities:**
- Assess and evaluate assigned patients
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
- Perform patient tests and administer medications within RN scope
- Promote patient independence through education on conditions, medications, and self-care skills
- **Unit Specifics:**
- Step down from ICU; ability to manage cardiac drips
- Familiarity with TAVRs and Watchman mitral clips is essential
- Patient-to-nurse ratio: 6:1
- **Qualifications:**
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Familiar with standard nursing concepts, practices, and procedures
