**Job Description:**
- Position: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN)
- Shift: 3x12s Rotating
- Days: 07:00 - 19:00
- Nights: 19:00 - 07:00
- Days of the Week: Various
- Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years in nursing
- First-timers Accepted: Yes, if experience requirements are met
- Weekend Requirement: Yes, per unit needs
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratios:
- 1:3 or 1:4 on days and nights
- Ratios may flex based on staffing and unit needs
- Certification Requirements:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Colorado RN / Compact RN License
- On-Call Requirement: No
- Floating:
- Required within scope to meet facility needs
- May float to sister facilities based on needs
- Total Staffed Beds: 36
- Charting System: EPIC
- Unit Information:
- Fast-paced, high acuity 36-bed unit
- Diverse patient populations
- Team-oriented and supportive environment
- Special procedures include scopes, biopsies, moderate sedation, and urgent dialysis
- Common drips include insulin, diltiazem, amiodarone, nicardipine, heparin, lasix, and dobutamine
