Job Description:
- **Position:** Registered Nurse
- **Specialty:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- **Unit:** 2400 INCU - CC 105100049
- **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- **Beds:** 12
- **Ratios:** 1:3 for all shifts
- **Float Required:** Yes - Medical Surgical
- **Weekend Coverage:** Every Other Weekend (EOW)
- **Local Candidates:** Not Accepted; must be > 75 miles away
- **Experience Requirement:** 1 year of nursing experience
- **First-Time Travelers:** Welcome!
- **Certifications Required:** ACLS and BLS
- **Patient Diagnoses:**
- DKA
- Acute Respiratory needs (BiPap, High Flow, Vent/Trachs)
- ETOH Withdrawal
- Sepsis
- CPORTS
- Nursing intensive/heavy case load
- **Special Procedures/Unit Details:**
- Mandatory competency in phlebotomy
- IV placement required for all RNs at this unit
- **Special Equipment:** CADDS, PCA Pumps
- **Scrubs:** Navy Blue and White
