Job Description:
- **Location:** St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Lewiston, ID
- **Position:** Travel RN in Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- **Shift:** 7 PM - 7 AM
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36
- **Openings:** 2
- **Weekend Requirements:** Every other weekend
- **Call Requirements:** None
**Unit Overview:**
- **Unit:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - 4th floor
- **Trauma Level:** II
- **Number of Beds:** 11
- **Patient Ratios:** 4:1
- **Patient Population:** Adult
- **Common Diagnoses:** CHF, Detox, Stroke, NStemi, Stemi, Neuro, COPD, Diabetes, Sepsis
**Position Responsibilities:**
- Provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment
- Monitor EKGs and assess patient status
- Manage IVs and wound care with precision
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Float to med/surg as necessary for safety and patient load
**Requirements:**
- **Education:** Registered Nurse (RN)
- **Experience:** Minimum 2 years in progressive care or intensive care preferred
- **Certifications:** BLS, ACLS
- **Skills:**
- EKG monitoring
- Patient assessment
- Wound care
- Strong communication
- IV management
**Dress Code:**
- **Scrub Color:** Any
- **Unacceptable Attire:** Hoodies, open-toed shoes, hats, offensive language/pictures on clothing
