**Job Description:**
- **Unit Information:**
- Location: Englewood, CO
- Unit Type: MTU-Multi Trauma Unit
- Number of Beds: 20
- Total Staff: 40
- Patient Ratios: 1:4 (charge nurse free of patients)
- **Staffing Details:**
- Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 5 Nurses, 3 Techs
- Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 5 Nurses, 2 Techs
- **Equipment Used:**
- Vents
- Feeding Pumps
- IV Pumps
- Wound Vacs
- Specialty Beds
- Suction Devices
- Chest Tubes
- EMR: Meditech / CPN
- **Ideal Candidate Profile:**
- **Must Have:**
- Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital PCU experience
- BLS, ACLS & NIH Certification
- **Preferred:**
- Prior Meditech experience
- **Typical Procedures Performed:**
- Chest Tube Placement
- Bedside Bronchoscopy
- Management of Chest Tubes, Trauma Patients, Tracheostomies, and Suction
- Effective Team Player in a Highly Acute Patient Setting
