**Job Title: PCU/Stepdown • Registered Nurse • Nights**
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Stepdown for night shifts in Los Angeles, CA. This role is perfect for an RN passionate about providing specialized care to patients needing close monitoring.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide intermediate care for patients transitioning from ICU or recovering from major surgeries.
• Perform cardiac telemetry monitoring and respond swiftly to patient condition changes.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and manage pain and wound care.
• Thrive in a fast•paced, high•acuity environment.
**Requirements:**
• Active CA RN License.
• At least one year of recent Progressive Care experience in a Level 1 Trauma Institution.
• Certifications: AHA ACLS/BLS, MAB or CPI, NIHSS, LA City Fire Card, Life Safety card.
• COVID•19 vaccination and booster required.
• Ability to work 36•hour night shifts over 8 weeks.
• Comfortable in a diverse, dynamic setting.
**Additional Information:**
• No float, on•call, or RTO requirements.
• Travel experience preferred but not required.
• Local travelers welcome.
