**Exciting Opportunity for a Travel PCU/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)!**
Job Description:
- Evaluate assigned patients and create individualized nursing care plans.
- Implement and document patient care efficiently and effectively.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, providing critical support.
- Perform various patient tests and administer medications as per nursing scope.
- Promote patient independence by establishing care goals.
- Educate patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
- Use experience and judgment to reach care goals, allowing for creativity in tasks.
- Work as part of a dynamic team, reporting to a unit/department manager.
- Prepare to float between departments and facilities, ensuring adaptability.
**Position Details:**
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Night Shift: 7p - 7:30a, working 3/12 shifts.
- Rotate through four facilities, including Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita.
- **Required Credentials:**
- Active Arizona RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- 2+ years of nursing experience.
- Patient Ratio: 6:1.
- Scrub color: Any color.
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Cerner experience is required.
- Ability to handle cardiac drips and familiarity with TAVRs and Watchman mitral clips is essential.
