**Exciting Opportunity for a Travel PCU/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)**
**Job Description:**
- **Position Type:** Travel PCU/Telemetry RN
- **Duration:** 13 Weeks
- **Shift:** Day Shift, 7a - 7:30p (3/12's)
- **Weekend Requirement:** Work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- **Floating Requirement:**
- Willingness to float between departments and four facilities is a must.
- **Licensure & Certifications Required:**
- Valid AZ Registered Nurse License
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- **Experience:** 2+ years in PCU/Telemetry nursing
- **Patient Ratio:** 6:1
- **Scrub Color:** Any color
- **EMR Experience:** Cerner experience required
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the RN scope of practice.
- Promote patient independence by establishing care goals and teaching self-care skills.
- Rely on your experience and judgment to accomplish goals.
- Perform a variety of tasks with creativity and latitude.
- Typically report to a manager or head of a unit/department.
**Qualifications:**
- Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the nursing field.
